Donna Stoneham, Ph.D., President
As an Executive Coach and Organization
and Leadership Development Consultant, Donna's mission has been to assist her
clients to generate positive change, liberate human potential, and align leadership,
work and life. Since beginning her coaching and consulting practice in 1991, she
has helped companies create and develop values-driven organizations, working with
hundreds of leaders in a wide range of industries including technology, telecommunications,
government, education, health care, manufacturing and publishing. (See
Sample Projects). Her client list includes Comcast, Amylin Pharmaceuticals,
Hewlett-Packard, MasterCard International, Cypress Semiconductor, The American
Medical Association, Sharp HealthCare, San Jose Unified School District, UC Berkeley
and the National Service Leadership Institute. (See Partial
Client List.) Prior to beginning her consulting practice, Donna spent
fifteen years as a District Manager, Regional Vice President and Director for
divisions of the Travelers and New York Life. Over the course of her career, she
designed and delivered over five hundred leadership-training programs and has
coached hundreds of leaders and executives. Donna holds a Ph.D. in Humanities
with a concentration in Learning and Change in Human Systems from the California
Institute of Integral Studies and her dissertation is entitled, Changing
Practices, Transforming Paradigms: An Appreciative Approach to Developing Integral
Leaders. She is the co-creator of Integral Intelligence,
a transformative approach to leadership development that focuses on way-of-being
as a leader. This approach integrates appreciative inquiry, integral coaching
and adult learning in a strengths-based approach to individual, team and organization
development. She has completed advanced training in Appreciative Inquiry at the
Taos Institute, is a Certified Integral Coach, and served as Vice President of
Professional Coaches and Mentors Association, Northern California Chapter. She
is an adjunct faculty member in the MBA program at Holy Names University where
she teaches Leadership Development. A popular speaker, Donna has presented
at conferences including: The Taos Institute's Appreciative Inquiry: A Constructive
Approach to Organization Transformation, UC Berkeley's Academic Leadership
Institute, Professional Coaches and Mentors Association's Cutting Edge

book, Leadership Wisdom: An Integral Approach to Developing Leaders and
her work is featured in two books, The Purpose of Your Life by Carol Adrienne
and The Power of Appreciative Inquiry: A Practical Guide to Positive Change
by Diana Whitney and Amanda Trosten-Bloom. In addition to her coaching and consulting
practice, Donna provides pastoral care at skilled nursing facilities in the San
